For sale vintage Claud Butler Torino circa 1970s.
531 DB with prugnat lugs, wraparound seat stays, metal head badge.
Seat tube 56.5 ctc, Top tube 56.5 ctc, Head tube 145
Angles 72 / 72 with short chain stays.
Bought off the forum and resurrected by Roberts fixing a bent derailleur hanger, seized bottom bracket and a rebuilt the seat stay bolt area.
Currently looking like a vintage beater with a slight smattering of surface rust but straight with no dents. This could be made into a stunning classic English lightweight.
Wheels: Campag large flange Tipo on unknown 27 inch rims built by Arup. 5 speed suntour block.
New Panaracer Pasela tyres 27 x 1 1/4.
Chainset: Campag Gran sport with 45T Royce ring (ring changed from one in photo)
