I need to move some frames and parts so this is another sale that is reluctant but hopefully it can find a good new home! Click on photos for full size.
Its a 57cm CTT Bill Nickson Lo Pro 700/650 in sparkly blue metallic with white lug detail however is damaged in a few places listed below and detailed in the photos, its sold as a spares repair, I've been riding around on it for the last year but i must stress its potentially dangerous as it is and should be repaired.
The bad parts -
The bottom bracket shell is crossthreaded, there is a threadless bottom bracket in there and it has held fine however you cannot go back to threaded unless you cut a new one.
There is a dent in the top tube where the handlebars have been whacked round and the stem has hit in, its a dent and the steel is cut but not the whole way through.
The seat tube where clamped has split, I was told it was a 27.2mm however when I tightened it fully the frame split, my fault for not checking. I made a shim and attached this with the post that's in there and this has been strong for 6 months plus so its up to the new owner what to do about this.
The rear chanin stays are bent, this was also missinformation as this used to be a road bike which has been converted with trackends the clearance is currently 122mm but again i should have checked!
There are loads of chips and scratches in the paintwork
The good parts:
531 drilled front forks are in good condition, good threadless bb, cant remember the brand.
Miche Supertype seat pin is in great condition
Stronglite headset is good.

Seat tube 57 ctt (56cm ctc)
Downtube 59 ctc (direct)
Top tube 57 ctc
This could be a good project for a frame builder or to invest a bit of money or just a collector to hang it on the wall!! Top tube protector is not included.
£100 - I think this is fair given the parts and the potential for an amazing summer lo pro.... is 2014 the year of the lo pro ?!
