  • Obviously there are loads, so any recommendations?

  • Haven't had any done since I moved here, but the artist I use back in Essex mentioned Johnny @ Inka, which is in Kemptown by New Steine

That said, his recommendation came in virtue of the type of work I usually get (all black/shading, no colour) - I suppose the right place for you is going to largely depend on what tattoo(s) you have in mind..

  • For modern/contemporary stuff, Jack Applegate at Nine is the one. He's doing my front piece

  • Also, everyone at into you is great

  • Depends on what you want but Magnum Opus and Into You seem the shops held in highest regard.

As Jack says, Nine for contemporary.

London is only a short train ride though. Loads more choice.

  • Tattoos are bad.

  • Mmm kay...

  • Hey Lewis just let me know what sort of thing you are after and I will point you in the right direction...

  • I've got something on my shoulder that I don't really like, because the guy I got recommended put all of two minutes effort into it so it looks tacky. I need someone who can add to it to make it look better, I'll show you next time we ride. Which could be tomorrow if you are about?

  • Nice tat!
