For Sale: Giant Omnium (M) frame & fork

  • Unfortunately I've got to sell this frame as mrs roboto doesn't want me cluttering up the house with more than two bikes and I've got a new frame for the track now.

I bought this great little frame a couple of years ago and it was originally my HHSB for fair weather, but soon evolved into being my dedicated track bike, so it's been ridden well and not abused.

It's a really light but super stiff frame and perfect for beginning track, a slavery build or a budget weight weenie.

Unfortunately, there is a small scratch on the TT from when I stupidly rested it against a wall while waiting for someone to change a puncture. It's hard to see and hard to photography, but there is a picture below.

It comes with Cane Creek headset too and expander bung and top cap. Although, I have slightly scuffed the top part of the expander bung removing a seized tester top cap after I rounded a bolt. This won't affect performance and will be completely hidden when built up. I can get pics later if needed.

    SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

  • Geometry chart here:

It's the medium one. 50cm ST and 53.5cm TT (compact geo)

  • Lush frame, good price. Sold mine for something similar a while back and regret it now.

  • Brilliant price! If anyone has one in large PM me.

  • oh ma days.... i want it.
if only i wasnt saving up

  • Here is a pic of one of its last incarnations:

  • Do it Joss, these frames are dope!

  • Bun saving up Joss,

    #yolo.

  • Unless it would be replacing the Donohue, in which case, haz a word with yourself punka.

  • Don't listen to TM Joss, bun the Dono too.

  • Nah no replacing Donny.
I'm saving for a trip to Ghana which is kinda better.
Id its around after then maybe.

  • Another pic of it built up. I can throw in either of the carbon seat posts pictured in the above builds for free too.

  • I reckon you should put the Ambrosio on the dln pls... better shape than the Alpina.

  • They are basically the same shape post TM, but the Ambrosio is matte finish and doesn't match the frame so well. Also, the aero blade may be a little to long for the DF3.

  • I need this frame.

  • Decent frame, decent price - a bargain. GLWS.

  • If the bladed post goes with the frame, I"d be interested in the FSA? Could do with something carbon on my skidder as the alu one in there is breaking me :/

  • I'll keep that in mind Tom.

  • Interested in this, When im out of nursery ill PM.

  • No problem. Just shoot me a PM when you can.

  • Here is a couple of shots of the choice of seat posts that could be yours with the frame.

First up is an Ambrosio Aero seat post (I blacked out the logo...)

340mm from rails to end and 18cm of aero blade. 5cm of clamping area from 19 to 24cm. This is equal to 69 to 74cm of distance from saddle rails to bottom bracket.

The other choice is an FSA SL-K 26.2 seat post. 350mm from rails to end with very light insertion marks from 19cm downwards.

Not had a PM from you JC14...

  • Here is a bonus piccy of it when I used to use bulls and a brake and a bad saddle angle.

  • Frame sold. Thread closed, thanks for the interest.
