Thanks airfixtwerp - will have a look. Yeah man - the rear is on there and running beautifully....not 170...120 is all my lower region can take. Will start a build thread soon. Only a few bits...front wheel, bottle cages and a couple of Ti bolts...nearly there.
You would be surprised - seen a couple of DA hubs laced to crap - long shot thou, I know.
Might be interested in DA group for another build. Running Sram red group with DA 7800/7850 hubs and DA cassette for this one. Cheers

^Thank you - correct its the 7800 (always get them mixed up). Would you know if the 7800 front comes with aero slots for flattened spokes? Cheers

Thanks ABC. Just stumbled upon a set of 7400 hubs - £35 - would it be a very bad thing to ride 7850 rear with 7400 front? Cheers

Thanks abc - I went for it - figured that it was a good deal for a set of DA hubs and that if I cant source the 7800 front hub ill use the 7400 for the front wheel build. Now looking for a carbon 32h front rim - 700c, 38mm deep, tubular -anyone? Cheers

^Yeah not ideal to use mismatched hubs - might hold off until i find a 7800 front hub…found this one which should be 'the one' - would still be looking for a carbon 32h rim - 700c, 38mm deep, tubular rim to match rear…

carbon and any more than 24 holes usually exist only from china as a special drilling which can be had for roughly £160 including postage/pair (plus import duties)
Your only other alternative is Corima which are fuggin' expensive but you can have custom drillings on some of their tubs & they are top top quality. 'Yellow limited' are the Corima importers & have the dealers list on their website as they won't deal with you direct (I tried) -

^thanks Mr bump. Ive had a look at Corima rims and that would be great if I could afford it - think I might order a rim from these guys - http://www.light-bicycle.com
