Cheers for this - looks lovely, but probably a little pricey for us - reckon we've got £250 for build, so rather not spend much more than £100 on frame... should have indicated budget earlier, cheers for suggestion tho.

I've got several tasty frames that I'm going to list soon (next week maybe?) . Mostly vintage/handmade goodness but also a Peugeot road frame that is freshly refinished and powder coated (traditional Peugeot blue/white forks) including BB & headset and, IIRC, a seatpost. Should all be suitable as I'm also '6 foot-ish'!
Got a pair of wheels (aero rims/flip-flop/inc tyres); cheap but not wretched, as well as a complete, fresh bike (dammit, I don't want to!), but over your budget (by £150 or so).

Actuallly, re-reading what you're after, should point out that the Peugeot is a road frame (braze-on for shifter and vertical dropouts). All the others are /horizontal rear dropout.

Cheers for this - definitely interested in seeing pics of all/any frames you're selling, peugeot sounds like a possibility and can always be converted to single speed use if necessary... do send over link to sales thread or PM with pics when you can - nice one!

No probs! Just bought a new camera to get moving with my (unexpected) selling spree but haven't even taken it out of the box yet! Might have a few pics of the frames hiding in my hard drive, I'll have a proper look tomorrow and PM you if I manage to find any.

Funnily enough just searching around for the info and photos right now. So far what I have is:
1 x 55.5cm (that's the Peugeot)
2 x 56cm
1 x 57cmI'll hang on to more details for a little longer because digging out the old pics has made me a sad panda - bought them for a a reason (because I think they're gorgeous) but having to get rid unexpectedly and it's quite a wrench!
The Peugeot is 55.5cm, Columbus tubed 'Aelle' with white Tange forks, recently powdercoated pale blue with the classic decals. Oval downtube (with single braze on for old style shifters), 130mm rear spacing, new (maybe 50 miles?) sealed Shimano BB, Campag headset, 25.4 mm seat post and clamp. Unmarked save for wheel-fitting.

Hello - anyone got anything interesting? Basically, he's 6 foot ish, looking to put together a light-ish single speed, ideally with rack/mud guard eyelets, but not essential... something ratty but nice, peugeot/surly/on-one etc, anything out there?
Cheers
