Being as it's always best to get your excuses in early, I've forsaken geared TT and will be pitching for the sympathy vote this year.
Chopped a pair of "looped" clip-ons, which allows me to fit them above the base bar and bring them closer together...
Tester's Mirage pista hack will be handling the massive power when I pull the pin on my leg-grenades...
Skeleton for HHSB mode (too nice to keep it TT only) and AX for "who needs brakes on a dragstrip anyway" mode...

Dropped it off at the LBS this afternoon to get the BB shell chased and faced, the HT faced and ST reamed.
Should have it back for the weekend: first race 9th March, assuming LFGSS CC is registered with the CTT by then.

Superb radio in the background on the second picture.
Even if I put cheapo batteries in mine it runs for months. -

The frame is also nice.

Must be 15 years old: rechargeables keep me rockin' for yonks!

Looks promising!
Is that an Adamas AX brake?

seatpost should be 28.6

Oof.
Ver'nice.

I think it's 600, but Shimano is a foreign country to me.
Seatpost is 27.2mm: what makes you think it would be 28.6mm?

Nice! Would look amazing candy purple and chrome with lime green striping

Dura Ace AX aero callipers. Far superior although less pretty than their Campag Delta counterparts.

i've got MAX and 27.2 is too narrow

Would! 1/3 of forks chrome and 1/3 of rear end chrome with a deep candy purple with a 2mm lime green dividing line

Will ultimately end up at Cromaworks, but that won't be for some time yet (end of season most likely) as I have more pressing needs, such as slinky wheelz.
AX brakes are still right up there in terms of aerodynamics and better than Deltas as far as actual braking goes; that's relative though and I think I'll want to butcher some Koolstops to fit.

Interesting: I stuck a 27.2mm post in there before dropping it off and it was snug...

Glad you're pleased with the frame
I think OverLoad is mistakenly referring to the 28.6mm OUTSIDE tube diameter at the top of the seattube, seatpost diameter is 27.2 (37x26.5 ovalization at the BB shell)

What type of brake pad has yours got? Looks like the same brake as I've got which uses a pad with a cutout, which I haven't figured out how to replicate yet.

I've no idea: someone mentioned they had a pair in your thread and I snapped them up, found they were too long for the lo-pro and they've sat in a box ever since.
Bear with me...

Yes, as per your pic: brakearedeath.

I've got 600ax (which that looks like, not the dura ace as someone mentioned) on my road bike. They stop me as well as anything else. Nos pads are silly money, was lucky to get a couple of sets with mine. Think there's a Belgian ebay seller with loads of ax bits. Def up for chopping up some decent pads to fit though..
Looking forward to seeing the finished article. -

Subbed. Im very excited for this, but think it needs a new lick of paint though!
Whats the size? -

Subscribed.
First a big thank you to Hazzus, who was very cool about letting me get the funds together, when an immediate and local sale would have been more convenient: chapeau!
