Reynolds 501 was not on the market until 1983.
Either your bike is significantly "younger" , or it's not 501... -

Must me much younger than I thought . Thanks for the heads. It did have 501 decals on but I pulled them off cuz they were tatty and just wanted a black bike

If you are looking to split, I am interested in everything but the group, cranks, Shifters and rear wheel. How long would postage take to London? Can't pm yet sorry.

Having a clear out and I'm getting rid of my beloved commuter. Size is 54cm square
Dates from around 1970ish I think and build from reynolds 501. (Nice and solid)
Built up with campagnolo chorus rear mech and chain set. Campagnolo record front mech. It's a 7 speed and luckly I have managed to get the gears to work index and friction which is nice.
Shifters are shimano somthing or other that are original brakes are campagnolo veloce but have surprisingly good stopping power on the rims.
Rear wheel is a warbler laced to campagnolo somthing hub. Brake levers are modern shimano R400 Areo ones. Wellgo pedals with flats on one side and clipless the other side bar tape it abit tatty and the rear wheel is slightly out of true. Could be fixed but iv not had a issue riding on it ...... That's all I can think of atm let me know if you have any questions guys
Looking for £160 posted.
Let me know if I'm way off. Cheers
