Accommodation tbc but I'm thinking B&B. Possibly camping. Maybe. Will investigate.

I'll probably go geared but I guess it's whatever floats your boat.

Possible plan:

Train mid-morning/midday on Sat 3rd from Waterloo to Portsmouth.
Ferry to Ryde
Arrive in Ryde
Cycle to accommodation (tbc)
Head to shops/pub for booze/food
Have nice evening in a pub
Randonnee on Sunday
Recover in pub
Head back to Ryde to catch ferry late morning early afternoon on Monday (bank holiday)
Train back to London by mid-afternoon

4th may looks good for me, year 6, lovely day out, generally camp at kite hill Wooton cos the owners cool, and they got showers, and cleansing ales/food within a short walk

2014 is my year of camping, bring it on.

I've asked the mods twice to merge.

Last year's ride was fab - it was Luddlet #2's longest ever ride, just the short version, so perhaps this year we'll do the full 100k.

Hope green mankini man stays at home this year.
