Spin LDN: March 28th - 30th @ Old Truman Brewey

The LHBPA is running a loads of fun activities as part of SPIN LDN 14 at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane between the 28th-30th March.

We will have a small court for 2 v 2 and a knife fight court.

The aim of the event is to have loads of fun, show of some of our sweet skillz and get people involved in having a go and having fun on bikes.

We need some volunteers to help staff the event on each day. You will be fed and watered and we will generally have a great time.

General bump for this as it was awesome last year

Indeed we need more volunteers for this if it is going to be as awesome as our previous events, and get more people aware of bike polo!

As has been mentioned, if you can help out (and it won't be too demanding, the idea is to project a fun image so we'll do that by having fun!) you'll be fed, watered and get entry to the event over the weekend.

Saturday: 10am - 6pm
Sunday: 10am-5pm

What's the volunteering actually going to entail?

Well if you're on the Friday building the court, Sunday I imagine we'll want people to stay behind and dismantle it (Tim?)

The rest of the time it'll be all about being approachable when people ask about what's going on, talking them into getting involved, maybe doing some trials with them on our bikes if they want to have a go. Also knife fight/2v2 and demonstration stuff on your bike, polo olympic type stuff.

Seriously, if you turn up to throwins and are friendly to people the other side of the fence who start watching, you're already super qualified.
