For Sale: OT: Nikon D90 Body only

Having just purchased a D300 from RDB last week I find myself with my trusty D90 being surplus to requirements. Camera comes complete, boxed with all leads, strap, charger, battery (reading 'new') and monitor cover.

This camera sat between the D50 and the D300 in it's day, which wasn't long ago. It's quite possibly the most successful Nikon camera ever with the same sensor and image processor as the pro-level D300 without the price. I upgraded to this from the D80 and the difference in low light processing was amazing, having shunned the CCD sensor that was on the D80 and D200.

I've had the camera serviced twice, most recently in Jan this year (at a cost of £35 I have the receipt if you need proof) so it is fresh and clean. It had new coverings in Dec 2012.

It's done a fair amount of milage, about 78,000 actuations. Of those I've but 18k on it in about 2 years, having purchased it from a friend in Dec 2011. The model is tested by Nikon up to 100,000 shots. The covering for ports on LHS has expanded slightly, this is quite common and cheap to replace... or just ignore/tape it. It also has the /smallest/ of marks on the screen which I've tried to capture in the photos.

All in all it's a great bit of kit, one that you can grow into as I have over the course of the years. If you're new to Nikon or photography in general I have a couple of lenses (Nikkor 50mm prime, 18-70mm zoom) that I could part with to help out otherwise I'll keep them.
