I know a guy who has one and loves it, did the off road London->Brighton a couple of years ago. His is a few years old now though, the black on black canti one. I have the 2014 CDF and rate it v highly, vapour is a lot lighter and racier

1+ on CdF, the sizing is more suited with a higher handlebar position - test ride them both.

Thanks.
I like the cdf but thought it was about £2k?

£2k?? they're half that, CdF even less so.

okay, I was thinking of the 931
The other one I liked the look of was this Charge plug 5, which seems to have better spec, but I'm not sure if it's £600 better spec

It's only £600 more because of the SRAM hydro set-up, but otherwise not generally worthwhile when the CdF work just as well.
Ironically enough, the 2014 CdF is cheaper and better specced than the first CdF I got (come with those old Sora shifter, BB5 brakes, tiny 12-25 cassette and cheaper hubset).

One very happy Vapour rider here. Tredz had them at good prices (2013 model) a few months back when I got mine.
I'm looking an off the peg bike to commute on for under £1k to get on cycle scheme. Want something tough, with discs and eyelets for mudguards and rack
Does anyone own one, has ridden one or knows anything about the Genesis Vapour?

Or have other recommendations?
Thanks
