For Sale: 1' Record headset - new in the box

Hi lads,

since I'll not be using this anymore, I'm offering an HS7-RE 1 inch Record headset, still in the box although shipment will be done in a an suitable envelop to save some shippingcosts. I can also ship in the original box but then the price including shipment has to go up a bit.

Never assembled.

Im not able to tell since nor the package nor the product states either ITA or BSC / BSA.

However, as far as I know they are interchangeable.

price new in the UK is £40-£45.... (and around £30 for unused on ebay)...so you may need to price drop

I don't believe they are interchangeable - as BSA and ITA threads are different?

If it's one of those, it will be the standard thread, and will indeed fit both types of threading. The most you would have to do is repass the steerer through a threading machine, as I did with my Gios fork. It takes ten mins to do at an LBS that has a threader machine.

You might have to price drop to get a sale. They are very nice headsets.

The crown race could be a sticking point though: ITA are 26.5mm or 27.0mm, ISO 26.4mm.

ITA and ISO are the same TPI, but ITA are cut at a slightly different angle.
