Sounds like a nice Valentine's day treat for the cycle-specific couple. Though I reckon if I suggested it the phrase 'minimum seat post insertion level' would take on a whole new meaning

Talking of tickets saw this post from the save the Velodrome campaign
Ah, January: Always a tough one. But never fear the Friends of Herne Hill Velodrome are here with plenty of 2014 dates to brighten up your wall-planners. At the bottom of this email is a provisional calendar of all the major race events at the track; Good Friday, Brixton Madison, Keirin, Velojam and the Dave Creasey 6, they’re all there and they’re all planning to be bigger and better for 2014.Can we draw your attention to the 2 Friends-fronted events though: The Youth Team Champs on the 29th of June and the Senior Team Champs on the 7th of July. We invented the Team Champs last year as the perfect race meeting to get the many bike clubs that use the track together. Both Youth and Senior days worked wonderfully in 2013 and we want to build on that. So please put these dates down; we’ll need all the clubs entered, plenty of volunteers and big, cheery crowds. But there are a few Friends things coming up a bit sooner you might be interested in. [The London Bikeshow, 13th 16th February, Excel Centre](http://www.thelondonbikeshow.co.uk/) The Friends have got a stall again and the organisers have given us 100 free tickets for the Thursday and Friday (contact pwright(at)hhvt.org if you want some, first come first served).
We’ll have all our lovely merchandise there and, wait for it, the provisional plans for a new pavilion. It’s looking like 2014 will be the year the Herne Hill Velodrome Trust goes to planning, so building can happen in 2015. We'll have some drawings from Hopkins Architects (the people who brought you the Stratford Olympic Velodrome) and we’d love to hear what people think (proper official consultation with all the users will of course be happening later).
Come and find us on stand LB303 and have a look at the possible future of Herne Hill.

For weekend tickets ES33 code works.Won't be the same without Martyn Ashton. He was the star of the show for me and the kids last year.
Hear he's hand cycling now, just a few months after his accident. Awesome! -
