Very nice. Like the link says, the colour scheme is Belgian national colours. Not the same scheme as Carlo Bomans' 89/90 Belgian champion Corsa Extra though (http://www.dewielersite.net/db2/wielersite/beeldbank1/bomans89.jpg). I can't quite figure out whose Belgian champion colour scheme from around then it might have been, but undoubtedly plenty rode Merckx.
GLWS!

Still want this Frameset!
It pains me to sell this bike but it is simply too big for me. It is also another bike just sitting at my parents' place that I cannot justify keeping.
Click photo for details of the build in PedalRoom.
The frame has a 57cm seattube c-c, and a 57cm toptube c-c.
I bought the frameset on eBay a couple of years ago and slowly built up a 7402 groupset from the forum finally getting the rare Italian 7400 BB last. I don't know the history of this bike but I've only ever seen one other Merckx with this colour scheme, and this one even has a number hanger! I hope you'll agree that the matching Merckx bottle cages and bottles are a cute touch (these are even unused).
This bike has been used. If you're looking for imperfections in the paint you'll find them. A previous owner used clip-on mudguards which rubbed off some paint revealing a chromed rear-stay (should be visible in photos). Similarly the groupset is used and about twenty years old (chrome is peeling from the STIs like normal). I am extremely surprised how well this shifts once set up correctly though.
As in my other advert, selling complete would be preferred, but let's see what happens. Included is everything in the photo apart from the pedals. Let me know if you think the price is ridiculous.
