I don't know a ton about this frame so let me know a price, by PM if you prefer, and I'll do some research and get back to you. Also what size is it?
Thanks.

Planet x got some silly stupid cheap alu frames at the mo...
I've had a look at some of those and sent of some questions. Most of the really cheap ones seem to be 1800g or so for my size, or else they don't list the weight, so I've just fired off some questions for them. If you know a bit more than they tell on their site and you can recommend a frame then let me know! Ta.

from another forum...
"With some exceptions, aluminum is generally above 3 lbs, and carbon is generally below. The exceptions are just that - exceptional.
The frame is generally only 20% of the total bike weight, so it shouldn't be a primary consideration. If you're building a super lightweight you're probably not going to use aluminum. Cannondale has been among the lightest aluminum frames since they first broke the 3 lbs barrier in 1989"

Thing is I'm not building a "super lightweight" bike, I'm building a light as possible for as cheap as possible bike. I could spend £150 on a frame that weighs 1800g's, or I could spend the same or less on a frame (Planet x team alu for instance is £140 and 1300g when in stock and second hand should be even cheaper), and have it 400-500g lighter. To drop that much weight off other components would cost a lot more.

size is 58cm c-t seat tube(classed as a 55 in the Principia catalogue), 55cm c-c top tube Looking for £325 including postage which after reading your subsequent pots looks to be outside your budget.
It is totally unmarked bar a scratch on the fork leg (a wheel slipped in the boot of my car and the cassette slid across it)
Principia made the very very best Aluminium frames, the ride is amazing and really does seem to launch you when you push through. Stiff but not uncompromising.
The other bits are also available.http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5512/10424387655_054748ed7f_h.jpg

That's a gorgeous frame, and exactly my size, but you are right, a bit outside my budget. I am looking to spend less than £200 on frame and fork ideally, less would be even better.

^^ I had a really nice Fondriest frame in 7020 which I gave to a mate to play with, but he lunched it after a failed discussion with a car...:(

After something a little bit lighter and with a 1 1/8 steerer if possible, but will keep that thread in mind if I can't find something else as the price is RIGHT.
I missed out on a size 56 CAAD8 with forks and seatpost for £150 on Bikeradar, that is the type of thing I am looking for!

I've an older cannondale r2000 frame and brand new columbus tusk forks. Fairly sure it's 57...only issue is the little piece that the short piece of outer cable from the rear mech fits in to is missing......maybe only good for ss now.
Lemme know if you're interested

Not sure how you would fix that and definitely want gears so I don't think that will work for me, thanks for the offer though.

A touch small I fear, looking for 56/57 c-c for a horizontal top tube really, thanks though.
As above, lightweight aluminium road frame wanted. Something like a CAAD, or a Planet x Team ALU. Cosmetics not important, I might strip it and clearcoat anyway.
Seat Tube - Between 56-57 c-c effective
Top Tube - 54 -56 c-c- effective
Preferably under 1400 grams for just the frame, will consider a bit heavier if the price is right.
If I manage to get a frame I'll need a nice light carbon fork too, so will consider bundles of F+F.
