Freecycle: Sony Trinitron 36" TV

  • GONE TO BHF

Up for grabs is this fine TV, 36" with 35" viewable screen. 100hz refresh rate. Amazing sound, can have extra speakers connected for Dolby surround sound. Remote control included. This was the last high end CRT from Sony. It was £1000 new, but thanks to modern advances in TV, it is deemed worthless. I'm sad to let it go as it really is amazing to watch DVDs on. Free to whomever can collect from Stoke Newington. It weighs near to 100kg so be advised you'll have to be strong and have someone to help at the other end.

  • I had one of these. I almost died getting it down a flight of stairs. Seriously, this is the heaviest thing ever. bradybrady is not exaggerating.

  • If it's pre digital you can hook up a Freeview unit (very cheap) via a scart lead so you can watch tv as we'll....

  • 100kg...are you sure?

  • quick google says it is. Apparently a heavy steel frame.

  • It is amazingly heavy. Nearly 16 stone if my maths is correct. I have a freeview box and a roku attached and it's all good

  • I just shifted it off the shelf by myself and I can confirm it is very heavy but two fit strong people it will be a doddle.

I'm going to arrange collection from british heart foundation for next week so if you want it act fast.

  • I gave a 28" Trinitron to BHF at the weekend and I cannot comprehend what a 36" Trinitron would weigh. BHF in Lewisham employ the roidest/henchest dudes to collect these tellys.
