2013-11-15 - Pedestrian Down/Fatality, Roehampton (London)

Radio Jackie is reporting that a female cyclist was hit at 4pm today, and has subsequently died.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

I understand that this occoured outside a row of shops on Danebury Avenue, which I think would make it at the end towards Roehampton Lane.

i really hope this is not the case.
I commute through the Richmond park everyday,
I did the past the aftermath around 5,30 this evening,
The locals that I was speaking to did not mention an cyclist and the police were not saying anything at all.
I did see the white tent up.

I can't find any source other than the link in the OP, all references on twitter seem to link back to it. For an incident which happened at 4pm and given recent events this seems very strange.

Hopefully it's not true.

It was 3 ladies were sitting in the back of a scaffolding truck and when the truck went over the speed bumps one lady fell out and hit the ground at speed and past away If I have broken an forum rules with this post please delete it

As object would say, a twitter post is not an official citation. I rode through roehampton today and there were no signs of a road traffic collision involving a cyclist.

^^ LBC are reporting it as being a pedestrian killed by a HGV. I really don't see how that makes it any better.
