• Lovely Casati Laser with Campag Chorus 10 speed groupset and Nucleon wheels. Size seat tube 57 c-c top tube 56 c-c. Frame is fillet brazed Dedacciai EOM 16.5, one of the lightest steel framesets around, with carbon forks.

Overall in beautiful condition, rarely used and kept in tip top order. The frame has a couple of paint chips and the groupset is almost unmarked. Lightest of shoe marks on cranks and 1 feint scratch on 1 of the ergos. The bike could almost be like new. Current Laser frames are apprx £2,300.00! There are 2 conti tyres on the wheels ( 1 gatorskin, the other 4000s which have only done approx 100 - 200 miles ).

Only selling to fund parts for a frame I bought from another forum member that I could not resist.

I would like £750 + postage ( or you can collect from Basingstoke, Hants ). Postage in bike box will be £20.00

Any questions please let me know.

Now asking £700 ( including UK Postage )

  • Lovely and good price

  • Awesome bike! Is it me or there's no seatpost bolts?

  • There is - just not where you expect ;)

  • Quill or something to do with the bulge in the seat-tube?

  • Indeed, there are no visible seat post bolts. The clamp is built in the top tube and there is a black stopper, which you pull out, to reveal an allen key bolt. A brilliant piece of design... typically Italian!

  • Very nice !!! I have a Fondriest built of the same tubing and it rides like a dream!!!
Very light for a steel bike as well!

    GLWS !!!

  • New Price.... £700 including UK postage.

  • If you split I'd be interested in the group set minus the wheels, saddle, stem and bars. But it does look nice complete.

  • If you did split how much would you be looking for frameset?

What's the headtube length & is it a 1" steerer?

    Thanks

  • Might be interested in the wheels if the price is right

  • No movement on this? How about mailing a proposal to those who've expressed an interest as most of the bits seem to have a market. Its a time of year when people have other priorities for their cash so things at this price point might be around for a while.

  • Thanks for the interest chaps but I'd rather not split the bike up at this stage. I think you are right Wingnuts.... wrong time year and perhaps current cold snap!

  • What's the headtube length & is it a 1" steerer.

    Thanks

  • Yes, it is a 1" steerer and head tube length is 160mm

  • Thanks for that.

Sorry but what is the total fork steerer length? & what is headtube length inc headset? This helps me to compare with an intergrated headset.

    Many thanks

  • Looks like overall steerer length is 25cm. Hope images helps.
