I've never seen another one but that doesn't mean much. I think the frame was called the Dolan Carbon Pista although I suspect this had a few custom tweaks although I could be wrong.
I'm having second thoughts about moving this on now. If I haven't had a firm nibble by the end of the weekend I'm going to dismantle and keep the frame in storage I think.

looking at it from the perspective of 58cm and where the saddle is ... are you 7 feet?

/me checking adverts about 'stretching legs' procedures and how expensive it might be ...

Im 6' 4" and mostly leg with relatively short arms. Its also set up for a very flat backed position.
I reckon its good for most people above 6 and maybe a bit shorter depending on how you set it up.

This. If you don't need the cash and just the space, there are plenty of people who will store it for you, me for instance.
It's a lot of bike for very little cash

I paid Varno 300 for the frame and some Alpina forks. Figured it chuck in the components for free as it were.
Just realised that I have an empty cupboard in the bike room.

Hi,
We're having a bit of a bike clear out at the moment and I've decided to let my carbon Dolan go. I built this as a light bike to ride long distances on hilly routes but for the last two years or so I have mostly grabbed my Pre Cursa for rides like this and have become a little more utilitarian in my bike choices nowadays.
It used to belong to the forums's very own Varno, father of Jess and one time cycle speedway world champion. He sold it to me when he started riding his own V-Sprint bikes on the track.
Some forumengers might remember that there was a bit of a scare when I thought there was a crack in one of the chainstays. It turned out that one of the track ends had become slightly unbonded. This was fixed professionally courtesy of Harry Perry cycles who sent it off to have the track end removed and rebonded. They did a great job and it looks like it did when I bought it.
The frame itself was custom made for Varno and looks great. I'm not sure of the date but it predates the Seta by a few years. There are a handful of small cosmetic chips mostly to the clearcoat but the frame is good for its age.
Anyway, here are the vitals:
61cm from top of seat tube to centre of BB.
58cm from top of seat tube to centre of head tube.
10cm Deda carbon stem.
42cm Deda Sfida carbon bars.
Dia Compe levers
Condor front brake
Condor carbon forks
Alpina carbon seat post
SRAM Omnium Cranks (scuffed on arms)
Pinarello Leopard Saddle
105 Pedals
No chain is pictured but will fit one before sale.
