  • I think here might be few butlers, so post your bikes

    i'll start with mine

I tried once find out age of the frame but they didn't answer anything, my guess is late 70's/early80's, it has zeus lugs and ends.

  • I've porteur-ed mine

  • Here is mine:

Now complete with NJS drop bars

    seperated at birth?

the track is lush, rackversion also...

  • :)

I really really want the track version as well

  • New here, third post. Figured one of my qualifying posts should probably be bike related. Terrible quality photo should do it.

Here's my GB, my only bike, setup exactly as I bought it, I don't know much about it but I love it. Having a once over in Brixton this week and then we'll see where it takes me.

  • A bit update.

  • I just finished building mine:

It's from the 70's at some point. I managed to speak to the second owner who had it pure track since 1980. I bought it as a frame and built a modern version of the original.

  • If anyone ever wants to sell their GB track frame, especially a 56-59, could you please pm me first. I'd love to pair mine up with the track equivalent

  • Latest pic of mine.

Parts I have and need fitting:

White bar tape, white pedals and BLB foot straps.

  • With pink helmet, ouch...

  • That'll be my five year old daughters :-)

  • Woud any of you guys be interested in a vintage GB path racer (I think) frame with track ends? 59cm, 531, Cliff Shrubb. If so, dop me a line for details. Ideally, I can sort this here before going to classifieds.

  • Got a photo?

  • There are some photos of it here:

    https://app.box.com/s/qzvoyrpficv9fcymp8by

The first photo is of the frame as a complete bike. I took it apart, but still have the parts, some of which are decent.

  • Does anyone have the paint colour code for the Geoffrey Butler track frames, as pictured in post #8 above?

  • Not a clue, but when I had to get a chainstay replaced on mine (road version, same paint scheme) I rattle canned it with an 'Arctic white' from Halfrauds and it was incredibly close

  • Thanks TTT - I'll look that up.

  • who is this? found on google images that pointed here, but can't see it embedded. is it @user48065
