    My pleasure.

  • Hegel would have been proud of the dialectics in the artwork.

  • Animal products used in food.

    Who'd of thunk it...

  • hahahhaha ^^

  • Der Arsch mit Ohren:

  • "Anal, but only if you hold my green ears"

  • Although I think Haribo is the most evil business concept conceivable (even worse than Graze) at least they don't target children but they do have gelatin free vegetarian allowed products.

  • So? Do you even tripe?

  • I used to work for a gas detection manufacturer. Basically we supplied kit that warned people when there were toxic/explosive levels of gas in their workplace. Of all the places I got to visit (sewage treatment works, abattoirs, petrochemical plants etc) by far the most disgusting and repulsive place was the UK's only gelatin manufacturer.

Basically they had enormous vats of pigs carcasses, bones and connective tissue mainly, which they chopped into smaller pieces. The vats were then filled with strongly alkali chemical solutions which when heated helped boil/leach the gelatin from the bones etc. The combined smell of the animals breaking down and the intense chemical fumes was unreal and left me feeling extremely sick. Took me several days to really get over it.

Never looked at gummy bears in the same way since...

  • @yetidamo - that factory isn't in Leamington Spa is it?

'DRAGOLO' = best Haribo. It's those round things, they're amazing.

You have to go to France to buy them though.

    Cross section:

  • Nope, not Leamington Spa. It was in South Wales. It was the only place in the UK at the time, but it was some time ago, so Leamington Spa might have got in on the act now as it's such a desirable line of work to get involved with...

  • I always bring those strawberry marshmallowy, squeeshy things from Germany. Can't stop eating them. Horrible stuff if you're on a diet.

    Cross section:

They look similar to Maoam Pinballs.
