how much have you paid? is it a second hand frame? and do you know the exact measurements? are they differ?
-
• #3
price was euros, it's second hand. It's 56 square with 175mm headtube, i think. When I will get it I will measure it exactly and I will try to find more info on frame because I don't think it's tapered from pictures.

quite pricey for a second hand alu frame.
-
• #5
Well he can probably shift the rest of the parts for around 300 euro's, and although 400 euro's still is a lot of money, Dosnoventa is quite exclusive here and especially a model that doesn't look slack (you could be the only one!)
-
• #6
i thought 700 for frame+fork, sorry, my fault
-
• #7
Yes I'm parting it out.
there isn't anything as good or light for that price(columubs airplane) I'm interested why something this good looking is made only one model. In a week or a little more I will get and I will post everything in this threa because it's something new to everyone - Dos that ain't SLACK. -

The Detroit has a 76 st and a 74 ht no? Where as mine has a 75 degree st and a 73.5 ht. Your Detroit doesn't look tapered though (1 1/8 - 1 1/2)
-

well if you search Detroit on pedalroom for example, they appear super slack. But this looks tighter then most of new standart track/tarck frame. And it isn' tapered, I'm 100% sure:

Forks. It's hard to find 1 1/2 track specific forks. The usual forks look like 45mm rake?

• #11
Only good lookin Dos frame ever

This is a Detroit 1 prototype, unique frame with Keirin inspiee geometry.
Looks like I'm keeping it for a long tome, beause it's Dos with a real nice geometry.
Really happy and excited about this. -
• #14
Does beg the question though, how could they have mad that as a proto and though 'naaah that looks wank, lets make it super slack'
-
• #15
you can always order custom geo from dosno (for extra money), so probably that's a custom order from a client
-
• #16
Haven't heard anything about custom Dos, but according to Dani it's a Detroit 1 prototype and I haven't seen another Dos with 1 1/8 headtube.

This looks quite a lot like a Ridley Oval but nicer.
-
• #18
Ok, so today I got it.
I didn't yet install Omnium's because square
taper BB needs smaller diameter tool. -

.

The clearances are so much better on this model!
-
• #21
Oooooh that is very very nice.
-
• #22
really nice frame mate, i think the frame will actually turn out to be a bit of a bargain when you take out all the other costs, are the forks full carbon?
also, that bb looks to be needing one of these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/cyclus-cassette-tool-campagnolo/ a campagnolo/miche bottom bracket tool, lbs should have one, if not someone on the forum in london will probably have one too
-
• #23
love it.

• #24
BB is actually not tightened so Omnium's will be on soon, wait for pics

Now need to sell the parts it came with and then this will get some updates,
carbon seatpost, new stem, spok.
So I have been searching for a frame or frameset for a while since selling my Track Champion.
Recently a close friend built Dos Tokyo, so I wanted to see they pricing, and is geo on all of them that slack. And yesterday I found this bike in Dosnoventa online shop and grabbed it.
I'm plannin on keeping only frameset and seatpost, all other parts I already have, except stem with right angle and lenght. As soon as I get it I will update this thread.
LOOK AT THAT GEOMETRY.
