Hell yes! Saw this on Ebay too thought tis was a bargain looks so damn good and made nearly on my Birthday too!
75's is the easy typical choice. Hold out for some C-record NJS stuff or go Suntour Route - great hub offerings from them too.
What are you thinking for wheels? Rims? clinchers or tubs?
Kinoko Cycles has some decent Nitto drops in their sale.
Looking forward to seeing this done up. Love that finish, really sexy.

The campag njs stuff will probably cost a small fortune, I think Suntour would be great on this.

Sorry mate, I sold my suntours about 2 weeks ago! These would have looked great on this! Definitely the nicest cranks aesthetically.
The C-Record NJS stuff will take you on a dark journey to the corners of the globe!
Its pricey, rare but beautiful. If this is a slow burner and you've got the funds I'd definitely go for that!
However, Thrust's post of the Suntour gruppo looks so damn good!
This thread really makes me want a sparkly Naga or Samson! Damn you.

Hunting a '92-'93 Dale track. Full SSP was the orig get up on it.
One for sale on the bay for a cool 1500 quid, too small though.

yeh, them suntour looked amazing. Just need some patience sourcing them out.. cousin of mine is going to japan next month so maybe I can ask for a few favours... if i cant get them then I guess I have to go the sugino route or Dura ace. Not sure if I have the budget for the c-record njs stuff or the patience to look for them..

I just got hooked on rare, beautiful Japanese NJSness and couldn't stop!
Oh it's you! God dammit.. You're the reason why I wanted a nagasawa... My build may not be as lush as yours though.. I'll be getting some cheapo wheel for now until I get my hands on some suntour superbes... I'm actually thinking of getting them Suzue max pro's if I can't find any superbes..

Posted some new pics, scored some suntour superbe pro seatpost, sorry if this is going slow and still bare bone frame. Getting the parts is proving to be such a hassle.. especially the wheels. still haven't decided...

That frame is hot. I definitely would...

Saw this for real today - even more stunning than the pics. Can't wait to see the final build. Cheers for the fork Mihajaru! Good to meet you

Looks like this built up it seems, I know there's a lot wrong with these pictures. But I just want to check out how it rides so I had to build it up using my other fixie's stuff... i.e. bars/wheels/brakes/etc, reckon I need a jag..... Was a nice slave this one is..
it's back to its original barebone frame until I get everything like the hubs, rims, saddle and all that..

This will be my first ever bike build so please be nice.
Project on hold.
Size :
C-T : 55cm
C-C : 54cm
T-T : 54cm
Headset : NJS Hatta Swan Super Deluxe
Bottom Bracket : NJS Hatta R9400
After lusting on the previous nagasawa frame posted here, I realized that I just have to have one of those damn frame... After looking and searching websites and all that, I finally hit the jackpot and got a Nagasawa recently from the bay which is exactly my size for less than the asking price that the seller was asking for. Pretty good condition, no dents, no scratchs or scuffs as the buyer who bought it from tracksupermarket only used it for some sort of photoshoots or whatever. Built up but never ridden..
Frame was from November of 1988 and was restored by Nagasawa himself according to tracksupermarket.
So this thread will be updated weekly whenever I get the parts I need ready.
So far, I have everything except the chainset and the wheels. Thinking of going sugino 75's, I have no idea which wheels I'm going for yet... cockpit is pretty much nitto stuff same for the seatpost.. Or maybe I'll just go full Dura Ace.. Not sure yet, depends on my budget...
So if any of you has for sale and willing to part with them, then please do say so as buying these stuff brand new will seriously put me into overdraft! crankset/wheels/etc...
Here's a teaser. cant take good pictures as it's raining hard outside.. pretty dark and gloomy..
I'll take some pictures later on during the day when it clears up.
