no worries, I found a cheap CK Road bb instead :)

Seriously? I'be considered one in the past but have been put off by the thought of having get ck installation tools and grease injectors. Seemed like a massive faff.

Ck installation tools were not needed - my SRAM GXP Tool worked just fine although I had to hold it in place to avoid slippage.
regarding grease I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, which hopefully won't be for a while!

Up until now I've only ridden shimano. Is be interested to know your views on what SRAM is like!

I don't really have a strong opinion. I've never used a SRAM groupset other than test riding sumo's Oak Cycles roadie - I've only ever used the Omnium track cranks with their native bb up till now.

It's Italian threaded, almost new and shinyshiny. I'd be keeping it if it were english, but alas...
Suggestion: buy a normal English Gxp BB and swap the bearings with the ceramics from this one?

How's £35 sound?
Got one of those nice ceramic bearing SRAM GXP bottom brackets. It's Italian threaded, almost new and shinyshiny. I'd be keeping it if it were english, but alas...
Anyway, £45? It's £157 on wiggle.
