I'm liking the sound of this, pending pictures. That said, for a seized post, £120 could be considered a little steep, especially on an unknown frame!

Real shame, that was a really nice frame. but now its fucked. that's not so much a dent as a creased top tube due to the impact. need new top tube which might make it a very expensive fix.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I'm out.

As old guy said if it is a crease which it looks like it's not rideable without tt replacement
-
• #7
Looks like both top and down are creased no?
-

Salvage the bits and sell them off. Very, very optimistic you will get that money for unrideable frame...
-

Yeah dude, thats not a dent, its a crease... and two of em... prob not saveable. Although to be fair, I have a frame with a smaller crease/bump and still use it fine...

Hack the shit out of it man. Make a nice rat.

Apologies for the shite pics, new ones uploaded. Yeah it does seem 120 is too steep for this frame, will be bumped down if there is absolutely no interest.

Going on a complete guess here, but I think only someone really dedicated is going to buy this for anyone near 3 digits. It's quite costly to replace the front triangle: Argos repair list
This is only vague, but I'd probably keep it and make a project of it.

Sadly, that frame is fucked......................
If you have any conscience , you would either remove from sale or sell off for a tender...........in that condition it's a death trap.........per crash was a nice frame .........don't mean to neg .........but -

It's an early 60s Holdsworth Zephyr frame.

Cheers for that frame history.Frame dropped to £45 as a last ditch attempt to get rid of it if anyone wants it for some miscellaneous reason.

Hello all, I am selling my brother's beloved 60's 56cm dented track frame. He said that the accident happened when a driver pulled out unknowingly. The forks took most of the impact resulting in them being bent out of shape.
The dent is on the downtube located near the headtube (see pictures). The frame comes with a 46t sturmey archer black crankset, kmc chain (model will be checked when I get home) and a stuck seat post (27.2mm diameter).
This really is a great and enjoyable frame to ride, stiff and light; not sure if its Reynolds tubing but very light nonetheless.
I am looking for £55 for this beautiful 45+ year old frame. Let me know if my pricing is outrageous. Pics now uploaded.
Cheers for viewing, cheers Michael.
