Γεια σας! lsegeorge spotted me on Strava and pointed me at this thread. I'm Alex, I moved to Limssol from London a few months ago. I've been riding mostly gears here (hills!) but I've got a boring but fun Marin fixed gear for going up and down the seafront!

Yia sou Alex !
Welcome to Cyprus and welcome the thread.
Limassol seems to have a biking vibe going the last few years!Certainly more than Nicosia I guess.
Did you move to Cyprus for work??
-
• #20
hey guys - I might be out in Cyprus for work from around March next year!
What's it like buying used road bikes out there? I have my baby here, but not sure if I want to buy a case/bag for it and take it over.
Any tips would help.
Cheers!

The best local source seems to be this place here:
http://www.bazaraki.com/ποδήλαταSome people also advertise here:
https://www.facebook.com/#!/podilateslefkosiasFinally you may want to ask the LBSs as they are often trying to help customers pass on their bikes in order to upgrade.
Awol (Specialized, Orbea)
Polys Bikes (Bianchi)
Micromania (Trek)
Agrotis (Giant)Don't expect to find the variety available in the UK.
Let me know if you need any further info!
Gives us a shout when you will be here!

Mario is from Cyprus and likes old bikes. I can't remember his surname or where he lives but I sold him a brown Porsche once.
