Anyone based in Cyprus?

Greetings !

If anyone is based in Cyprus pls give me a shout.

Creating a local contact list could be useful in:

• Borrowing bike tools/ helping each other out (Bike Kitchen...sort of)
  
• Trading components locally (especially the beater parts which are not worth posting)

yep, from Samos & Thiva originally, grew up in Athens, been living here since 04, London since 08.. you?

I studied in London 1998 - 2002.

Since 2002 in Cyprus/ Nicosia.

Got into bike building after restoring my father Falco 10 speed.
There is no turning back since!

fixed gear and i would love a road bike with an old steel frame but not a new one.. hate the sloping top tube..

these are my bikes for now, actually the second one i bought it because it was in such a good condition even though it was small for me. ended up swapping the seat and bars and giving it to my fiancee!

What are the frames?

Here are two of my builds:

A Columbus SL Fixed gear conversion

And a Fidusa Columbus SLX road bike (fame made by Greek frame builder George Voyatzis)

I also built a Falco 10 speed tourer and a Raleigh mixte for my wife. I should take pictures at some point!

Now working on restoring a Fondriest X-Status (late 90s steel frame/ carbon fork/ Campy 9 speed).

Limassol seems to have a biking vibe going the last few years!

Certainly more than Nicosia I guess.

hey guys - I might be out in Cyprus for work from around March next year!

What's it like buying used road bikes out there? I have my baby here, but not sure if I want to buy a case/bag for it and take it over.

Any tips would help.
