• C-record era 8s 36h hubs (Unsure of which group.)

    Mavic Open Pro CD rims.

Hand built by Harry Rowland with Sapim DB spokes.

Since being returned to me have had no use. Not even mounted to a bike, just has an 8s 13-26 Chorus cassette fitted and sat looking sad at me.

These were built for a project which never quite made it to fruition. The cost of the build of the wheels will certainly not be recompensated through this sale but I can't justify them sitting around any longer.

I chose 36h and open pros so they'd be versatile enough for sunday clubruns as well as some light touring. These were built for my prospective 'lifetime' build.

Front hub is super smooth, rear could use a service if I'm being picky. You can feel the bearings a little when spinning the wheel in your hand.

Freewheel in good condition and still with a lovely loud click (Not that lovely if you're a shimano man I guess, but that I am not.)

    Original matching skewers.

£210 not including cassette. Let me know if this is way out. They cost me a lot more than that to have built.

Cassette can be included for £20 at buyers request.

    Wheels are in SE14

  • Definitely CD or are they Ceramic? Have a friend who would maybe be interested if ceramic...

  • Not sure. Looking into it now.
