For Sale: F.Moser 51.151 mod. Neo Pro 1988 size 58 frame&fork impressive condition

Hi ,

Here we have another high-range model produced by F.Moser factory.
This is the first Moser high range model out of "Eroica era" (until 1987). As you can observe , the cable routing is inner the main tube , while the shifters are still on the frame.
I rarely find a 25 years old bike in these condition. It really seems NOS , but it's not!!!
This frames comes from the 1st Neo Pro serie. You can recognize it because the color is ALL red , while in the second serie you can find some white painted parts (See the web for Moser Catalog of first years of 1990).
You can find the record arrow (Moser record brand) in some lugs , on the fork's head and under the bottom bracket box. Here you can find the ID of bike: 8 stands for 1988.
Like all Moser high range models , colors and Moser brands are HANDPAINTED.
I sell only frame & forks , no bottom bracket and no headset.

If it's had 25 year's use it is not New Old Stock, that's the point. And if it's dirty and chipped, it's just second hand. And if it's made of Oria tubing, it's definitely not worth £300.

Not only Columbus tubing are synonim of high-range frame.
AS I'VE ALREADY TOLD YOU , I JUST WROTE "IT SEEMS" N.O.S. BECAUSE THE FRAME IS REALLY IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.
The whole price is including EMS shipping , and it costs almost 50 pounds for a 3.5 kg package.
What's the problem with you man?

I had a Moser frame in SLX. I sold it for £150 because that's what it's worth.

But a straight-gauge cromor steel tubeset that is heavier than Gara or 531 and similar to SL that's been used for 25 years for £300 is a bargain, so excuse me for your dirty thread.

I would be so curious to see your Moser frame with Columbus SLX , considering that in the "SLX era" (end of '80 and beginning of '90) F.Moser used to produce high-range frames with KK oversize Oria tubing (have you ever heard something about Moser Leader AX??).
F.Moser brand is known to be one of the few brands NOT TO USE Columbus tubing on their high-range frames.
And also i must to correct you when you write that it should be a big difference beetween SL and SLX , try to have a look here:

the difference is about 50 grams.

sorry man but I'm not agree with you.
Uber Gruber is trying to denigrate/disparage my stuff. I'm not here to fool someone , but he attacked me since the opening post.
He speaks (write) about something that really does not know.
He speaks about Moser frame with columbus SLX that DOES NOT EXIST!!!!
He is a in bad way with me and i really don't know why.
And also i don't understand why there are some persons ready to defend him.
So it's normal to react.

and also he speaks about Oria tubing like a low quality , and this is clearly a poor acknowledgment about old handcrafted italian road bike.
The Oria was made by the same (Wannesmann) of Columbus tubing. Please have a look on the web to find more info.

It's still beautiful Italian handmade frame in very good condition. It means that it's worth around £250. Go for ebay and you'll get it if someone got problem with that over here. Take nicer photos. über_grüber - if you sold your moser on SLX for £150 maybe it's time for some business lessons mr. teacher??? Or was it scratched as hell with big dent on toptube??? But I agree with you - NOS is NOS - means NEW OLD STOCK/NEVER USED, sometimes with tiny storage marks. People are selling Gazellas for 150 so you should get what you want. Go for retrobike/ebay. Good luck with sale, sexy stuff.
