That's a high quality frame if I recall correctly, mainly judging from the tubing used (Reynolds 531c) and at a good price too I would have thought, but maybe someone else can clarify?
I had a Falcon, loved it. Although mine wasnt as high a standard as I imagine that was. I ruined it too.
Falcon Race by kaaaaaaandries, on FlickrI would build yours up as a road bike, too nice for beater imo.

Think you paid fair bucks for it, I think the 'c' is competition tubing. Maybe one of the later Falcon's designed by clements, I read somewhere on the net that the rear brake cable lugs on the top tube are only on bikes from the late 70's onwards.
I think mine is '81/82 with 453 tubing.
Hey guys,
Managed to get a used Falcon frame on eBay. I probably overspent a bit after looking at the prices on other places. Opinions seem to be that their quality is quite variable depending on the age. So I am just wondering what are people opinions on them. The one I got is this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231056785486?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
Would it be worth to convert to a road bike? Or is it only of use for a beater?
