I was in talks about buying the Graham Weigh earlier this year from LaurenceCardiff but ended up pretty much broke so it wasn't meant to be.
It's a lovely frame and someone should really snap it up before I start begging Laurence to ship it to me! :)

possible dibs on that graham weigh, questions though: fork 1 inch or 1 1/8, a pick with wheels? just to get an idea of geo, i.e. sloping/horizontal tt, clearances etc.
edit: found other pics on flickr, just headtube size now :)

It looks like 1 inch threaded to me. Nice frame too.
-
• #7
^ i'm thinking that too, would just like confirmation

Hey sorry buddy, yep it's a 1 inch threaded. Would you like me to measure the headtube for you? In the pictures I'd ask you to note the paint chips, especially the couple on the top tube. The ding too, but I feel I've adjusted the price accordingly.

Just measured it for you now...headtube is 110mm, from right at the top to right to the bottom....I hope that's ok, let me know if there's anything else I can get for you. Cheers! L

price drop on the Rossin

Price drop on the cyclocross - 165£. Essentially it's a solid run about: 531, everything works well, good tyres.

I couldn't figure out how much you want for the Aire Valley. Am I stupid? Only saw prices for the frames and the CX bike.
Anyway I'd like to come and give it a go sometime if it's not too much for my wallet.
(I don't think I can PM yet, sorry)

Wish that bloody Rossin was smaller- good price
-
• #22
Mrew - you should be able to PM after you post a couple more times, failing that my email address is: laurie.a1 at gmail dot com
Tokaicarl - thanks, in the pictures there is a bit of dirt on the downtube decal, but i'm pretty sure this is just a bit of oil which will scrub off, haven't found the time to get round to it yet.

The Rossin - Columbus tubing? what about the drop outs? is the bb Italian? and are the threads good? and where are you and the frame? :o)
-
• #24
The Rossin is columbus SL, though I had an SLX decal knocking about so used that instead, i'm not a faker promise. Drop outs are Campag, BB is italian, threads all good as far as I know. I'm in Manor House. Drop me a PM if you're interested, more pictures on that flickr account.
Cheers,
L

Yeah, I think I should be fine after this. But I don't think you answered my question? :-) don't know how much you want for it!
Couple of bits that have been sitting around for too long and I would like gone sharpish. Collection from Manor House, may be able to drop off if coerced.
Graham Weigh bumblebee track. 531 with tear drop downtube. £170 not including VGC shimano 600 headset. ST 52cm c-c, TT 53cm c-c. 26.8 seatpost. Drilled front, rear undrilled. Can include very ratty seatpost if needed. SOLD
Quite a few chips to the paintwork, one small ding on the top tube. Cheeky welsh dragon on the downtube. More pictures soon.
Basso 'Superlight Gap' road frame, 56 c-c ST & TT. Made from a mixture of tubing at a time when (feel free to correct me) columbus stopped producing tubes briefly. Still made with columbus tubes, just not branded as such. Basso's top road frame, thought to be SLX. 27.2 seatpost, 130 rear spacing, threadless 1 inch fork. £75. Fair bit of paint loss, and a bit of surface rust. SOLD
58cm 531 cyclocross. 170£. Pictures coming soon. Campagnolo drop outs.
Shimano MTB groupset, triple sugino chainset. Currently BB length is too long so doesn't shift into the granny ring on the front. 3T adjustable stem which has snapped off at the end but still works all right. 3T bars. Planet X Frogs Bollox canti brakes. Shimano front hub, Quando rear. 6 speed freewheel on rear. Couldn't be arsed to find the ferrules for the top tube cable routing, so put it on with electrical tape. Works fine though. Badged as an Aire Valley, which I think is a cycle shop up north. Stickers easily removeable.
Paint scratched off around the seatstays, only superficial damage. Pictures on my flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/101426039@N06/
Rossin SL 60cm. 58cm c-c toptube. Chrome immaculate. Recently applied new decals. Few paint chips but otherwise is VGC. No forks. £65. SOLD
Things I'm looking for/possible part exchange: black flite.
