Wanted: 54cm geared beater to buy/ borrow until my ribs get getter.

Evening all,

Hurt my ribs quite bad earlier on (currently sat in a&e waiting to see how much) and riding home fixed was agony so im Looking for something cheap with brakes and gears to get me to and from Work until my chest isn't as sore.

happy to buy something cheap or if anyone's got something I could borrow for a week or so that would be amazing!!

Preferable around camberwell/ Peckham/ Brixton area.

Would geared make a difference? Got one that should do but 57cm..

Not sure, I doubt gears will make to much of a difference but Id like to make it easy/ comfortable to get about.

SS would be fine, basically I'd just like to be able to coast and brake with little effort for a while.

'I really don't want to pay for the bus again' bump.

Maybe a Black postmans bike frame with large front basket, fluted stem and harliquin wrapped north road bars depending on what's on offer.
