For Sale: Bont Vaypor Plus - 44 Wide

I bought a pair of Bont Vaypor Plus road shoes as soon as I could - I've been lusting after a pair of Bonts for a long time and these seemed like the ultimate version. They are absolutely amazing shoes, ludicrously stiff, stupidly light (circa 450 grams I think) and extremely well made. You can read about how rad they are here. Only problem is, they don't fit me. These are size 44 Wide-fit, and are just slightly too long for me. I take a 43 Sidi, and between a 8 - 9 regular shoes, depending on the fit.

I have heat moulded them once, but you can heat mould them an infinite number of times without doing any damage to the shoes. I've ridden about 100 miles in them and decided the shoe isn't for me. Visually, they are absolutely perfect, and come in the box and the Bont shoe bag.

I'm asking for £150 ONO, which reflects the price I paid for them and the small amount of use they've had. They retail for £250 and have been available for about a week in the UK.

The comfort to performance of Bonts is off the charts. My top end Northwaves always feel like soft house bricks after using my Bonts.

I have 42 wide vapour CTTs. They're a mm or 2 too short. I was thinking 43 wide would work.

I would recommend trying to 44 Wides SF, I think they would fit

Believe me. If I did'nt have a Ti cassette, and a super record lever body on its way I'd be biting your hand off.

So over spent this month.

I may actually check out what the length difference would be anyway. I cant do some of the endurance stuff I have planned next year in slightly too short shoes.

These arent going to crop up any cheaper.

It turns out my boots are 42.5 wide. So these could work. On my phone will sort monies etc. This evening if that's ok.

Which means I have some Bont CTT 1 for sale. One seasons use, permanently in overshoes.
