Reluctantly selling this nice old Mercian, as I need the space & cash for other projects. I only built it up a few months ago with some nice parts, and have since only ridden it about 20 dry miles, so running really well. Overall a really lightweight bike & nice quiet, smooth ride. Ideally looking to sell complete, only if there is no interest in the full bike I might consider splitting (if it comes to this, prices below in brackets).
Cranks: Campagnolo Strada (£45)
Chainring: Campagnolo 42T (£15)
Bars: Mavic bullhorns with brand new Fizik soft touch tape (£30)
Stem: Nitto Dynamic 8 (£25)
Wheels: 700C Specialized hubs on deep v Alex rims, 120mm rear drop outs (£80)
Tyres: Gatorskin (£40)
Saddle: Gipiemme Nitrec (£25)
Seatpost: Campagnolo 2 bolt (£25)
Brake levers: Condor cross top (£12)
Brake Callipers: Shimano 600 Arabesque front (£8), Tektro R556 rear (£8)
Pedals: MKS (£8)
Chain: KMC (£5)
Cog: 16T White Industries freewheel (£50) or Dura Ace fixed cog & Dura Ace lockring (£20 for cog & lockring)
Total cost above comes to £566, so hopefully if my prices aren’t too far out £450 is a fair price complete.
Frame & forks are showing plenty of ‘character’ through use / wear over the years, I think this is probably the original paintwork - it is not perfect, there are lots of small marks / scratches, small signs of rust & paint touch-ups. However, it is all cosmetic, there are no dents, cracks or any structural damage. Nice detailed lugwork with handpainted linings. At some point it has had clamp-on downtube shifters which have left a mark.
The bars, tape, levers, stem, wheels, tyres, cogs, chain are all almost as new having seen very little use. The cranks, chainring, pedals are all in very good condition for age, and the bottom bracket is very smooth. I will include either the freewheel or fixed cog / lockring, depending on whether the buyer prefers singlespeed or fixed. I can include both as the rear wheel is flip flop for +£20 to full bike price.
Preferably viewed / collected from Central London, can also be posted at cost.
Have someone viewing this tomorrow (on hold till then), will update the thread afterwards...

Formatting Help
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot
> Quote text by starting lines with >
Mention another user by @username
For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Your code goes here
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
*Now Sold* Thanks for all the interest
