Beautiful bike and sorry for the loss :( I'll totally keep my eyes out; checking all these sites daily for a bike for myself.
On that note - how do you know if a bike is stolen? I'm totally anti theft and am constantly aware of any lovely bike I might be looking at on gumtree/ebay might have been stolen.

Yeah, from a flat. Crack heads probably, his mum lives on a pretty shit estate.

Hi Mate,
The bike might be broken. Would help if you can list all components and any thing that might identify. I.e scratches damage unusual features I.e green Brooks saddle etc so we can all keep an eye on ebay etc.
Best of luck I'll keep my eyes peeled. -

Hi all, new member
Pleasantries out of the way, what postcode does that area have? Might help to enter into an advanced EvilBay search. I'll do some research.
Good luck.

Must be hard to take in after losing a Bob Jackson like that.
I think it worth to look around Brick Lane on Sunday morning.
Good luck -

LFGSS has come through. Bike is now back in its original ugly owners hands. Scumbag is on his way to do porridge, or take it up the bum, or have his yard turned over by the 5-0, or be released back on to the streets this evening. Who cares, congrats to markm for winning the prize!

I feel a major motion picture coming on about this story. Nice one for getting it back. How did the bust come about? Ill ask my uncle Hannibal to keep an eye out for a crackehead bike thieving cunt on his wing.

great news can only wish this happen to everyone who lost his bike this way!!!!
I will personally give £100 to anyone who finds this bike listed on Gumtree, ebay, here etc...
It has changed slightly since this photo was taken, and now has ambrosio excellence rims, phil Wood touring hubs and a gold miche supertype seat pin (vom).
It was stolen from a very good friend of mines mums flat in Kings Cross yesterday. He is already very ugly and unpopular, so as you can imagine this is the last thing he needs.
Cash will be paid on safe return of bike (you don't have to return it, just tell me where it is, I'll do the rest).
Alternatively, I will give you 10% off any frame set you buy from me.
Thanks in advance LFGSS, if anyone can do it, it's you!
