That is an absolute stunner. Well done.

Are the spokes tied together?
Don't think I've ever seen that before... -
• #4
yes, they are tied and soldered... should make the wheels stronger...
-
• #5
looks sweet, never did understand those down tubes...
-

That's beautiful .. Saddle angle looks a bit off but otherwise p0rn :)
@SamJT .. Ernesto Colnago decided to crimp the top and down tubes in about 1981. It was apparently reported that early (presumably team bikes, as Colnago like Campagnolo worked very closely with racers back in the day for development) frames were stiffer, but there were complaints of instability at high speeds. In 1986, Colnago introduced the Master with Gilco tubing and crimped tubes were no longer ..

wow Peter, great to get some information in it's previous life!! thanks a lot, thats awesome to hear... yes, size is 56cm! paint is close to mint, there are some minimal scratches and paintchips, chrome is close to perfect!

anidel... thanks for the link! yeah, it's sad but I'm sure that someone will enjoy the Colnago more than I... had only found the time to ride it 4-5 times last year.

shame, but in this case it'll help. Bike will be in top-notch conditions.

• #23
what an amazing pair of colnagos.
-
• #24
doesn't look to be a Mexico Pista though, no crimping in the top- & downtube
-

if Gian's should be too small for any prospect buyer, pm me 'cause I will part with mine for the right price. It doesn't get ridden at all, just displayed at shows.
just finished the built up of my Mexico Pista... enjoy!
