Might be in, go round in a large spiral ending up in the centre at the end!
-
• #4
Would be cool

You need to hit each one but you can't hit one more than once...
-
• #7
You mean all boroughs while avoiding the City of London? (London has 33 local authorities.)

GBSiaD--a pub in every borough?
-
• #13
The hardcore option is clearly to do borough tops instead.

There was a discussion on doing a similar route years ago;

ETA: the route google throws out for borough tops is 170 miles lol

great idea

Right, now, someone map the bastard... off you go bored students.. map it, map it good!

A strict spiral would involve swimming between Bexley and Havering, unfortunately.
Edit: no it wouldn't, but you'd have to start the spiral in one of those two and go away from the river.

I think the routing would have to be something like this. Anticlockwise nearly works, but leaves us stuck in Lewisham waiting for them to build a bridge to Tower Hamlets.
-
• #18
I'll do some work now
-
• #19
^^or a foot tunnel from Greenwich?
-
• #20
^ Exactly. Start off to the west of Tower Hamlets and then use the foot tunnel at Greewich. Sorted.

You need to hit each one but you can't hit one more than once...
And a spiral is an elegant way of doing this. We're not animals, dammit.
-
• #22
Can't we make it more phallic shaped?
-
• #23
ah, the cock and balls ride.
-
• #24
via bellendan road, shaftsbury avenue, etc
-
• #25
this is all well and good but shouldn't the ride start in Barnet?
Has anyone tried to cycle through all 32 London boroughs in a day?
Had a cursory glance on this thread and couldn't see anything.
Would take some careful route planning but thought it might be a cool challenge and a good way to see some more of this big ol' town.
Anyone up for it?
