Oh man! I wish I wasn't such a midget. <3 that bike - and triple triangle on a frame is auspicious. Fact.
Good luck! Hope it goes to a good home!

These are quite hard to price really.
I am selling for much less than what it cost me to build if Anonymouse is worried that I'm creaming it.
The frameset is great.
And so are the forks.
And so is the headset.
And so are the cranks.
And so is seatpost.
Ans so on...I didn't pick up parts from my parts bin and whacked an unrealistic price on it - I could have but that's not the very gentlemanly.
Hopefully it'll go to a good home!

bargain

Dibs seatpost if you split (and depending on price)

£550 may sound reasonable based on quoting the RRP of the parts, but seriousy which of these parts did you buy new or at anywhere near full RRP? How much profit do you make at that price?
Having said that, it would be good to see this frame go to someone that could rescue it from ugly.
fuck off alias.

well put mate

I doubt there'd be any profit to be made from selling this bike at £550 even with significant discounts on the individual parts.
-
• #10
I think its well priced and good looking

fuck off ignorant.
If everyone think it's a good deal then ok, my bad, but I still don't see the need to list all the RRP prices he didn't pay for the parts.

I am not getting involved (?!) in discussion and wouldnt buy this (maybe front 3 spoke wheel)
but ...
why he shouldnt? -

How is additional information never useful? Maybe superfluous to your requirements but is pretty harmless. I actually find it useful myself. Just pretend it isn't there and it'll go away.

Damn wheels up for grabs?
-
• #15
actually, is that front threespoke for sale? dibs if so

This would look rad with a ellipses.

No need for that Vince. Best online price is irrelevant to my point. I will delete my post as it seems at odds with general opinion. I'm not trolling just a bit direct. Apart from telling 100aa he's ignorant. Good luck with your sale.

Maybe not trolling but you're unnecessarily being a bit of a dick really.
Quick scan on google shopping says Funda Pro's are about £225, Omniums £170, EC70 inline seatpost £80, so it's not like the quoted prices are miles away, and just those three items bought new would bring you £75 under the price of the bike, seems like a fucking bargain to me.

^this in heaps!

Strikes me as a reasonable way of highlighting the quality of the build and justifying his price. Shoppers are smart enough to know that generally you don't pay RRP, but it does go some way towards giving a feel for quality / love that's gone in to it.

Would be interested in buying just the frame?
If you split then how muchos?

• #23
Bargain IMO.

Vince only sells stuff at 'spirit of the forum prices'. End of.

^Wholeheartedly agree. He's a good lad.
~~TL;DR Great bike, great price, rad^max Telemagenta colour
I genuinely thought I could have ALL the bikes. Well, apparently, I can't...
I have recently purchase a pink Pinarello Pista so my much loved Mielec has to go.
Very little use since I build it on 18/01/2013 - here is the video:
Double Mielec Build - YouTube
For those who don't know, Mielec is a temperamental polish frame builder with no grasp on promised delivery dates. We did a group order of 22 frames back in early October 2012 and the frames were delivered mid January 2013.
Anyway, the geometry is awesome (56cm TT, 56 ST both CTC), the rad^max pink colour too (RAL4010+rainbow sparkle clearcoat) and I've invested a fair whack of cash in it. It is currently set up for me at 5ft10.5 (179cm) and will suit people a couple inches either way.
Here is the specification:
Pretty big spec! It is all in perfect working order, it hasn't done many miles either so it is all in very good condition too. As you see it in the picture, the bike is 7.9kg if that matters.
Price wise, I think £550 SOLD is a great price seeing the equipment on it - I have spent for more than that on it and it would also be worth more if split for parts.
The bike is at my work in Chancery Lane so come and take it for a spin.
Sorry for the indoors pics, it does look better in the flesh:
Here is a previous set up where you can see the colour a bit better:~~
