.......frame now sold!
not too sure about this one as it came as part of a job lot and has been left languishing in the loft for a few years, it appears to be of a certain vintage due to the oil cap on the bottom bracket possibly built late 1950's/60's and the lugs seem to be the style this era,
original forks look to have been replaced at some time, tubes are straight and true with two small indents on the top tube (see photo) possibly caused by the handlebars but they don't affect the integral structure .....measurements are seat tube c/top 24" and top tube c/centre 22.1/2" (metric 61cm's - 58cm's) seat tube measures 27.0 on the vernier gauge the fork steerer is 1" plus b/bracket threads seem fine
Don't ask me for the make as I couldn't find any frame number but possibly rubbing the paintwork with light grade emery paper may reveal its origins, it looks like it has been overpainted with a 6" brush before I got it, all I can find is "British Made" visibly stamped under the b/bracket, comes with a serviceble Stronglight alloy headset either way it is still of use I hope so am asking £40.00 collected Eltham, SE London
