  • Years ago I saw a frame covered in stickers by a guy called Kuss, then further inspired by Hippy's 'What a C*nt bike' I had the idea of covering a bike in Beer labels.

First stage and the fun part was drinking loads of beer :) just put the empties in a bucket of water and soak the labels off and leave to dry and store in a massive envelope until I had enough to cover a 25" frame.

Second stage the bike, I have a few frames in the pipeline but decided to give my Old Falcon Professional a new lease of life, this was my first fixedwheel conversion twelve years ago and the frame I rode PBP 2003 on, so I stripped the frame back to bare metal and gave it to our sprayer at work for a few coats of primer and a couple of top coats of Pearl Metallic White, I did all the prep in between coats.

After that I spent a few evenings after work arranging how to put the labels on and using clear varnish painted on the back, stuck them on, The London Pride label worked so well for a headbadge :)

Once labelled up it had quite a few coats of lacquer to seal them all in and collect all the other bits to build it up.
