• #3
Strikes me as a lot of bike for not much cash.
-
• #4
Thanks fellas, I'm biased but it's a great little bike
-
• #5
Not that I need another road bike, but if I was on the market for one - I'd definitely get this.
-
• #6
Ooh, I'd get that, but need money for the holidays next week.
Anyone wants my Scissor? :-) -
• #7
^ I think Xander would be interested.

Yep, I agree- bargain to be had for a shorty.
-
• #9
That is an absolute steal.
Some lovely parts and a cracking little frame!
-
• #10
I like.
What are the wheels.?
-
• #11
The wheels are a set of Alex Rims S500 taken from a 2011 Specialized Allez with new Zaffiro tyres .. they are a straight set of training wheels.

Good idea!

Why wasn't this around when I was looking a few months back?
Ridiculous bargain considering the condition of the frame. GLWS
Can't you make it fit with a longer stem and layback post? Seems a shame to build up such a stunner and not ride it.

This rad but annoyingly too small for me
-
• #15
Needless to say... this is still available and now going for a steal @pooface @oswald if you are looking for the same but bigger...
Now £130 for the frame + fork... http://www.lfgss.com/thread106279.html -

@ chadders81 .. unfortunately the bike is not going to fit without a pro position, which I'm not capable of, so it's for sale ..
@ joelipol .. thank you for the reminder, but your's has the opposite problem of too big ..
-
• #17
Cool as fuck.
-
• #18
What's the weight of the build, please?
-
• #19
Lighter than any build in Dale's current line up costing below £1800 I'd imagine.
-
• #20
@ fizzybubbelech .. As advertised the weight is 7909 g. With a change of wheels to a pair of Reynolds Attack wheels the weight becomes 6747 g .. Both weights where made on my basic luggage scale .. so no guarantee on accuracy! .. and both included tyres, cassette, skewers etc ..

@ Oswald cheers for the reply.
Can't PM you for some reason. -
• #22
Just checked them wheels, they're 800 quid. Just a tiny little bit too expensive.
-
• #23
Yes they are .. and they are by no means the lightest wheels out there. But I used them because they where to hand and I wanted an example of the difference between training wheels and better wheels. If I remember right the Attack comes in at 1450g, a Shimano RS80 is listed at 1480g and can be had for about £350ish
And you probably can't pm yet because your post count is too low .. you need 3 post and 24hrs introduction time

@ Oswald drop me a line
