• Cyclist, 79, dies following West Lothian lorry accident
    A cyclist has died in hospital days after an accident involving a lorry in West Lothian.

    The 79-year-old man was seriously injured in the collision on the B9080 Linlithgow to Kirkliston Road near Winchburgh Bing, at about 10.30 on Thursday 11 July.

    He died in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary on Sunday.

    Police are not yet in a position to identify the man and are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.

    They have also appealed for any witnesses to contact Police Scotland.
