Hi all,
Haven't posted on here for a while but I'm after some help identifying my new Claud Butler frame. I have looked through several websites trying to work out what the frame numbers convert to in years but I'm struggling with mine!
The bike has been in a loft for the past 20 years and I got it for £200 that I think was a bargain (see specs below). Over the years forks have been replaced with a set of tange forks that I would like to replace with something that looks more original and the frame has also had the rear dropouts changed and cable guides added.
Anyway the frame number is stamped a
on the bb shell and is 005088, help would be greatly appreciated and here is a picture of it how it stands, I'm just waiting for black hoods, tape and new cables, and a respray at some point as its going to look a bit emo being black and bright pink!
