jim: super interesting in terms of material, and great forks, but the design is just a bit too weird ;-) thanks anyway
riri: that's not aero/teardrop tubing

jimjamosullivan: by the way, what's the story behind the winter TT frame that is in your flickr set? is that for sale as well?

I have something you might be interested in. It is a Columbus Ego built Concorde Squadra team bike in a big size. I was planning on doing a built with it, but progress has been way to slow. Not sure if I am willing to part with it yet though, since it took me like forever to find it. http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=251628

1980 De Rosa, Columbus Air. Seat tube: 57cm c-c / 59.5cm c-t. Top tube: 56cm c-c. Rounded seat stay. Chrome Forks. Rear Spacing = 122mm. De Rosa confirmed they custom built it for Dutch cyclist in 1980. I picked it up in Holland around 2001. Not original paint but same colour. Ridden sparingly - frame is actually too big for me, so that's why it will be going on eBay. Can supply more details if interested.

hi, some good offers on here, not exactly what I'm looking for yet.
What I would love is large-diameter steel tubes, combined with a bit of aero tubing, or big differences between downtube and rear stays etc.!
AND: very important: original paintcoat, no resprays (sorry diable, otherwise yours would be interesting)

Hi James, the metalic blue de rosa air above was sold. Good luck finding something suitable
Hello,
I am looking for a frameset with Columbus Air / Ego tubing, or any other similar ovalized or *teardrop-shape/aero cross-section*** *steel ***tubing, ideally from the 80s. Tight geometry. 700c/700c front/rear.
Can be both road or track! This thread is valid as long as you can see it here. Please PM me if you have something like this for sale!
