(but I think the OP doesn't actually know what they want)

Challenge Paris-Roubaix are lovely rolling tyres, feel "fast" and are nicely made- but have the puncture resistance of a soap bubble.

Well, i've been riding GP 24mm, Vittoria Open Corsa and Veloflex. So ideally i'm looking for something in that class but wider. High TPI/Low rolling resistance bla. bla..
Challenge's tyres look nice but most of them seem to be Tubulars?

Pro Optimum then. Grippy front, durable rear, supple casing so low rolling resistance and race tested by the greatest (mass) rider to have ever lived.

I just took delivery of the challenge strada bianca in 30mm. They are more or less the same as paris - roubaix but with a puncture belt. The P-Rs were fast tires but you would puncture from almost anything. Hopefully these have the same feel but with acceptable puncture protection.
I got the all black version this time. I could give an initial report in a week.

Schwalbe Durano seem a good compromise between price, rolling resistance and puncture protection. Available in 25 and 28 mm. (and it tends to be a little wider than advertised). Above that, Ultremo will feel faster and more confortable, the trade-off being the rather low life-expectancy and a higher price-tag. Available in 25 and 28mm too.
Panaracer also has some racing tires in wider sizes (26, 29, 32 mm). I never had the chance to tested them, but they seem to have a loyal user-base, despite being rather pricy.

I'm running a Durano on my TT training wheel and they're so far durable and handle ok. They're not fast though - I wouldn't race on them.

Where'd you get them? Seem to fit the bill, and they kind of have the same specs and thread as the Corsa Evo's, which i thoroughly enjoy. /Fellow Swede

Hejsan!
Velomine.com is where i bought them. Great shop imo! 100 usd for the pair i believe. But shipping on top of that so may not be optimal for just tires, i ordered a bunch of other campy stuff at the same time.
Great service and easy to deal with.
Have had a road frame custom built to fit 28mm tyres + mudguards. Haven't really had a look at what tyres are available though. Any love stories you guys wanna share with me?
Schwalbe Ultremo? Paris Roubaix? Continental GP 28mm?
