I don't have such a thing, but I do know that some macs came with video input hardware too.

You need someone who works for an AV company.
As I don't anymore, I don't have the access to toys and don't really want to ask around as they will bother me with freelance jobs I can partake in anymore.Pity Oz is in Wales.

ive a a brand new "box" that i never opened that was meant for transeferring video to digital. I bought it from the apple store years ago when i got my mac. Could have a look at that. Remember being pricey at the time but im sure you can have it for a score or something if you think its useful

Family holidays, school plays, birthday outings, the usual stuff. Nothing untowards :)

Nice one! This sounds like just the ticket, i'll send you a PM mate.
Hi forum!
I've got a few analog 8mm cassettes from old camcorder footage that i'd like to transfer to a PC. After some googling I found I need something like this
It's the go-between, transfers analog tape to digital, then sends it via firewire to a PC. Does anyone have one that I could buy or even just borrow for a week or so? Could rent it from you or pay in bike bits if you like!
Cheers.
