Some people from the forum have seen a almost complete version of this at East Beers this week but just completed it totally today.

  • Looking good Dom!

  • Thanks Indra! Front wheel came out good in the end too.

    Chuffed.

  • The front wheel is a spin trispoke AFAIK.

Worth a fair bit in 700c

  • These images aren't working for me. Anyone else?

  • Yeah, pics no work

  • Something's gone wrong. They were working earlier. I shall sort it when I'm home!

  • I had to go through and see them, Dom to bed from Flickr you just hit the share button above the pic then copy and paste the code.

  • I think the dropbox folder is not shared

  • Okay I used Flickr this time. Hopefully now it's viewable.

Apologies for being officially awful with technology!

  • Can see it all, flikr ftw.

  • have you used the normal arione? How do you find the tri one? what are the diff while riding?

  • Its squidgier all over IIRC.

My only criticism is as its a tri frame, the rear is still super tight but the front looks pretty slack in comparison. Good job otherwise!

I'd say this, it does look a fair bit chunkier than normal ones.

It is a little longer so the transition is meant to be better but...this is my first Arione so I am only going off what I read!

Thanks man. Perhaps a thicker tyre or different fork may have helped but...I'm happy with it as it is (for now - bike caveat everyone uses I noticed!).

  • I have tried ALL the ariones except this, normal, VS and Kurve snake; the best is Kurve but comes at a cost and vs is the worst personally. Would love to try the tri version to see the diff.

  • Looks fast.

What are you going to do about the cable routing for TTs, just tape the outer to the bars, or did you leave the holes in the bars accesible for the cables?

Im now running the Kurve chameleon and it is the comfiest saddle ive ridden so far. obviously the £170 price isnt great

  • +1 to this ^
Makes you wonder why didnt they buy Brooks earlier ;)

    COPY ALL THE PATENTS

Going to be riding it just recreationally and doing some long hauls, laps, etc but eventually I will get round to TTing as I am curious about it.

I will then deal with sorting cabling/brakes or get some carbon Profile bars or something!

  • The f+f is 299 on their site at the moment, it looks like from their site pictures that the cable guides/derailleur arm can be taken off but holding back because I am unsure, please enlighten me.

  • even if it is only in hot pink...
