You mistake the sophistication of advanced technological innovation, which no longer needs any air pressure, for a simple, abject fail of the application of a track pump.

I have a very similar bike, but it has rear suspension. Mine also has woods valves but I do not think it is old at all. Maybe from 2004 or thereabouts.
Nothing to do with me, just thought it was 'interesting' - just sayin...
