Bump for this.
Nice bike at a bargain price but mainly for the fact that there is a Mahatma Gandi Industrial Estate!
I'm sure it's what he would have wanted.....

Apologies for that! Had to get one last blast on my old workhorse.
Here's a few words on the provnenance......loads of couriers had these back in the day, they are literally bombprppf, and not too heavy.....thousands of miles covered on London's roads, has w few scuffs....but think of the history, I'm here 'til about 3.30pm today...

Start Moan: I had about 4h sleep last night because of a nasty neighbour, then had to deal with police about said neighbour at 0800. This was followed by a cycle to our warehouse where I encountered a bus who forgot the mirror part of mirror signal manouver, he would have quite possibly have puushed me into the pavement if I hadn't braked hard. Again I managed to stay cool and not scream at him, a quiet word in his ear, through the window he couldn't shut because I was holding it open seemed to do the trick and he at least apologised for his rash driving. At our engineers workshop I ploughed through the engineering I needed to do and managed to start heading back to my workshop at a reasonable hour, through the day I had been communicating by text with a potential buyer for Winston's Veto. Finally when I was driving back and rung said buyer he got arsey with me for only being able to offer him a small window to to view the bike, I suggested the sale be terminated, which brings me to my point. //End rant.
The bike is still available, no one has been down to see it yet. Winston has rightly decided that it now has to go to a good home. It is a bargain and will suit a 6' plus rider. It is available to view/collect from Mahatma Gandhi Ind Est, close to Loughborough Jnct train station on Monday from 1000-1700 or another time TBA.
Last chance for a cheap reliable ride before it goes on eBay.

I will buy this if Jackolas doesn't. I will want my name in the Film de Rollapaluza credits, mind.

paramounted you can have the lead role as 85" aka 44x14. If Jackolas doesn't buy Winston's wonder, he's coming on Monday to view, then I'll let you know.

There'll still be the problem that nobody, and I mean, nobody will be able to live up to the way winston rode it, though. Let's face it, any new owner will only be a small footnote in history.

Sold.
You have a chance to own a genuine (Winston's) ex-courier's machine and therefore exponentially increasing your hipster points score. The frame is a rock solid Veto which measures 59cm from BB to top of the seat tube. A notable part is the dura ace rear hub.
It is clean, it runs and you can ride it away for a measly £200, all of the money you pay will go towards running an Rollapaluza Outreach event in London school.
You can collect from our unit at the Mahatma Gandhi Industrial Estate, Milkwood Rd, SE24 0JF
If you buy this quickly you can also bring me lunch.
