Around 6PM. Mangled MTB under the bridge next to the foreground station.
police and ambulance attended; driver interviewed. Couldn't see the cyclist.

Didn't have much time, but presume it's either someone young or a local commuter. It was a non-descript silver full sus frame with knobbly tyres. Both wheels were bent in half, which makes me think that a car run over the bike agaist a kerb. Like I said, there was no sign of the cyclist and no gore really, but the ambulance was there. The driver appeared to be detained with police officers sitting in his car.

Fingers crossed rider and driver is ok. My friend's not on a full sus (though it feels odd sighing of relief when someone's been taken out)
